Winter light festival OrbitFest
Groningen glowed this past winter during the futuristic winter light festival ‘OrbitFest’: Into Orbit! On 21st December 2014, the shortest day of the year, makers and hackers, from all over Groningen and surrounding areas collaborated with our volunteers, partners and employees in furnishing the Ebbingekwartierterrein at the Boterdiep close to the city centre with a freely accessible light festival offering a sense stimulating programme of activities. Every year ColorC launches a new festival theme: this year the theme, Channels to the Stars, was chosen for the second edition of OrbitFest to be held on 18th until 20th December 2015. With this theme we would like to challenge makers and hackers from all over Groningen and surrounding areas to let their fantasy loose in and along passages.
